Advanced Characterization & Diagnostics

Our diagnostic effort is focused on detailed characterization of the transport and related processes within electrochemical assemblies and components. We utilize various operando, ex- and in-situ techniques including both commercial and in-house built and designed setups to elucidate the governing interactions. Materials investigated include porous media, catalyst layers, subscale cells, ionomers, porous transport layers, and gas-diffusion media.
